• Litter & Debris Cleanup Committee •

The Clean Up Committee was formed by volunteers at the suggestion of the Township Board in lieu of a Litter and Debris Ordinance. Warren Libby headed up the group and started various programs for the benefit of the residents.

The Township office is the center for recycling information, trash services in the area, tire disposal services, scrap metal and iron facilities, etc.

The Committee also organized the Adopt-A-Road Program whereby volunteers sign on to take care of a one mile stretch of road, going out in the spring and fall to pick up trash. Bags and vest are furnished. Also a sign is provided" by the Berrien County Road Commission designating the road to persons or organizations who have volunteered to be responsible for a certain section of road.

The months of May and October have been designated as spring and fall Clear Up Months. The Township Board has approved $20.00 vouchers for May and October to be used at the SEBC Landfill. They are obtained at the office.

Our volunteers are very important to our township. If you would care to serve, please contact the township office or click here to print the 'Volunteer Form' that can be sent in or taken in to the township office.

No meetings are scheduled at this time but check with the township office for future meetings.
